Actress Carrie Anne Fleming, famous for her roles in “Supernatural” and “iZombie,” died at age 51 in Canada after battling her mother’s cancer. She is survived by a daughter.

Carrie Anne Fleming, the actress known for the series “Supernatural” and “iZombie,” died at age 51.

Her agent informed PEOPLE magazine in a statement that the actress died in Canada on February 26th, after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

“She died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. It was a great privilege to have known Carrie. She was a beautiful, inspiring, and above all, kind soul. We will miss her dearly,” the agent added.

Actor Jim Beaver, who played Fleming’s husband in “Supernatural,” shared a post on Facebook earlier this month, where he talked about how the two met.

“She was a force of nature, overflowing with vitality and confidence, with a contagious laugh and an absolutely adorable personality that seemed to have no off switch,” wrote the 75-year-old actor.

Carrie Anne Fleming was born in 1974 in Digby, Nova Scotia, Canada. Later, she moved to British Columbia, where she studied theater at the Kaleidoscope Theatre and the Kidco Theatre Dance Company in Victoria, according to Variety magazine and The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress began her career on television in “Viper,” and in films such as “The Devil of Golf” before gaining recognition in horror series.

“Masters of Horror,” “The Tooth Fairy,” “Bloodsuckers,” “Supergirl,” “UnREAL,” “Continuum,” “Alice, Knights of Bloodsteel,” “The 4400,” “The L Word,” “Smallville,” “The Dead Zone,” “Stargate SG-1,” and “Secret Agent Man” were some of the projects in which she began.

In “Supernatural,” she played Karen Singer, the wife of protagonist Bobby Singer, played by Beaver, and later played Candy Baker in CW’s “iZombie.”

Carrie Anne Fleming is survived by her daughter, Madalyn Rose.
